Birds + Zenoti



Zenoti, the leading cloud software provider for salons, spas, and med spas, serves over 12,000 businesses across 50 countries from their headquarters in Bellevue, WA. Recognizing the power of genuine customer experiences in marketing, Zenoti wanted to feature a testimonial case study from one of their hippest Austin-based clients, Birds Barbershop—a rapidly expanding trendsetter in the salon industry and a fixture in Elle’s list of America’s 100 Best Salons for more than six years running.

For this project, Cognitive Films was tasked with capturing the essence of Birds Barbershop’s fun atmosphere and its successful integration of Zenoti’s software. The shoot took place at Birds’ lively South Congress location in Austin, amidst the day’s regular activities. We managed to film extensive b-roll footage and conducted an insightful interview with Birds’ founder, Jayson Rapaport, who shared how Zenoti’s solutions have streamlined appointment scheduling.

This shoot not only provided Cognitive Films with the opportunity to delve into the dynamic salon industry but also allowed us to engage closely with Birds Barbershop’s enthusiastic team. The final case study video effectively communicates the practical benefits of Zenoti’s software, directly from a client who experiences its impacts daily, thereby reinforcing the value of Zenoti’s offerings through a real-world application.
